Dr. Stephanie Lorenze has been working in the field of education in West Virginia for over twelve years, seven of which were spent as a public high school teacher of mathematics, dance education, and Spanish. She played a leadership role in her school as she held positions on the faculty senate, 5-Year Strategic Planning Committee, GoGlobal team, professional development team, and PLC group. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to work as a curriculum designer and professional development facilitator for the West Virginia Department of Education and as a writer and reviewer of dance education standards at the state and national levels. Dr. Lorenze has developed dance education programs for West Virginia public schools and continues to champion this endeavor. Currently, she directs the undergraduate elementary education program at West Virginia University and teaches professional education courses within the College of Education and Human Services.
